Intimate Wedding at Stella of New Hope by Jess Palatucci Photography

Intimate weddings always have a place in my heart, and honestly are some of my favorites. When Jessica and Andrew first reached out to me to photograph their intimate wedding, I quite literally jumped out of my seat. I was so beyond excited and while I don’t shoot intimate weddings too often when I do I am ALL FOR IT. Jessica and Andrew’s intimate wedding at Stella of New Hope was a beautiful one and has me wanting to relive this day again and again.

Located on a waterfront property in New Hope, PA, Stella of New Hope is a barn-like restaurant and bar that offers delicious food with gorgeous water views. Stella of New Hope is comprised of two locations, The Ghost Light Inn and the Stella Restaurant. It is the best of both worlds and is the perfect wedding venue in Pennsylvania to give you delicious food & drink along with incredible lodging. Getting Ready & Jessica and Andrew’s First Look

While I was with Jessica at The Carriage House getting ready, JPP’s second photographer was with Andrew and his groomsmen getting ready. The great thing about this location is that all of these getting-ready locations are just steps away from their main venue. How convenient! Of course, it was such a beautiful day out, the sun was shining and I was just counting down the minutes until we could go outside and start taking some portraits. I absolutely loved all of the little details that Jessica had including her bouquet. Attached to this bouquet was a photo of her father who passed, which I thought was an incredibly touching sentiment to add.

Shortly after everyone was finished getting ready, it was time for Jessica to meet up with Andrew for their first look! First looks are a great opportunity for couples to see each other before the ceremony. Not only that, but it’s a great moment for intimacy and privacy between you two. I highly recommend my couples do a first look, especially if they get nervous in front of crowds. However, I do have to warn you that you may or may not ball your eyes out. Always pack tissues and wear waterproof mascara, my friends!

Intimate Wedding Ceremony at Stella of New Hope

Close to the venue is a small waterfall, river, and greenery area, which is where we decided to take Jessica and Andrew’s portraits. They wanted to keep things fairly relaxed since they really wanted to focus on spending the day celebrating each other. Although I do have to admit, that pearl studded denim jacket Jessica had made me so jealous! I might have to get one for myself – lol. It wasn’t long until we made our way to the ceremony location inside The Ghost Light Inn. Since it was such an intimate wedding, Jessica and Andrew were surrounded by all of their closest friends and family. Jessica walked down the aisle with her son, Brody, and then locked eyes with Andrew. Together they shared intimate vows and claimed their love for one another and it was just beautiful.

Wedding Reception

Now since Jessica and Andrew had a relatively small wedding, they really were able to focus on the little details to make their day come to life. The florals were absolutely phenomenal, shoutout Pod Shop Flowers, really tied everything together. We spent the night eating some damn good cake, dancing on the open dance floor, and really soaking up the moment. I did have to sneak Jessica and Andrew off to get some fun flash photos, which is something I have loved doing lately! It gives off that beautiful editorial look which I am all about. They both looked absolutely amazing and it was a night that I will always cherish!
