Jersey City Engagement Party at Hudson House by Jess Palatucci

If you’re reading this it’s probably because this is your sign to go all out for your engagement party. Engagement parties are a celebration of this next step with you and your partner. It’s an opportunity to get friends and family together to show their love and support and to eat a lot of good food too – lol. Nicole and Brian wanted their Jersey City engagement party at Hudson House to be a real celebration. By that I mean, they wanted every moment captured in its entirety and to really feel the emotions and love. Mission: accepted.

Hudson House – Jersey City Event Space

Nicole and Brian’s engagement party was at the stunning event space, Hudson House, in Jersey City, New Jersey. With gorgeous views of the Hudson River and panoramic views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, it was only fitting to have such a special celebration here. Floor-to-ceiling windows surrounded us brought in so much beautiful natural light and really made this the perfect setting for Nicole and Brian’s engagement party.

When I arrived I was greeted by all of the beautiful decor and the large space rented for the engagement party. It was perfectly curated with the florals being the perfect amount of pop for the space. Before guests arrived, we took some couples portraits of the fiancés while the sun was still shining bright. These two look absolutely spectacular, so shooting them was effortless. After portraits, the guests started rolling in and the festivities officially began. Nicole and Brian are Turkish, so a lot of Turkish traditions and food were incorporated throughout the engagement party. Including a traditional blessing and prayer to the newly engaged.

They had Turkish apps and dinners, which by the way looked delectable not going to lie. Before we knew it, dinner was over, bellies were full and the dance floor was officially open. For music, there was a blend of traditional Turkish music, and Turkish pop, which eventually shifted to American-style music. Everyone lifted Nicole and Brian into the air and spent the entire night in celebration of them and their love. Money was flying through the air and let’s just say it was a PART-AY.
