Macy & Brad’s wedding day at the American Swedish Historical Museum in Philadelphia was nothing short of a joyful, colorful celebration of love. From the first look to the blue hour portraits and an unforgettable dance party, their wedding was filled with intentional design, heartfelt moments, and vibrant spring energy.

The couple began their day getting ready at the Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown Hotel, a modern and elegant space in the heart of Old City. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Macy slipped into her stunning Jenny Yoo gown with the help of her glam team — Jazmin Rae Bridal & Kate Makeup Artistry. Brad, dapper in his suit from Watson Ellis Custom, awaited their first look with excitement.

Their first look and wedding portraits all took place at the stunning American Swedish Historical Museum, one of Philadelphia’s most unique and elegant hidden gems. With its historic architecture, tree-lined grounds, and soft spring light, it made for the perfect backdrop to capture portraits and candid moments alike.

The color story of the day was absolutely dreamy — a pastel palette of spring tones with bright pink bridesmaid dresses and lush, colorful floral arrangements by Wolfgram Florals. Every bouquet and centerpiece was bursting with texture and personality, tying together the couple’s vision of a fresh, joyful spring wedding.

Their love story began during their college days — a spontaneous meeting at a bar where Macy was instantly drawn to Brad. That initial spark only grew over the years and culminated in this beautiful, laughter-filled celebration with the people they love most.

With Taylor Emily Events leading the planning and coordination, every detail was seamless and intentional. Guests enjoyed cocktails and catering by JAM Catering as the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a golden glow on the festivities. The reception space came to life with colorful tablescapes, warm candlelight, and a packed dance floor thanks to Sugarbomb Entertainment.

As the evening turned into twilight, the couple snuck away for a few blue hour portraits, capturing the magic of Philadelphia’s evening light and a quiet moment together before rejoining the party.

From heartfelt vows to high-energy dancing, Macy & Brad’s wedding day was a true reflection of their fun, magnetic connection and stylish sensibilities. Every image from this day radiates joy, from stolen glances during portraits to the epic dance moves on the reception floor.

We are so honored to have captured this colorful spring wedding at the American Swedish Historical Museum and can’t wait to be back here soon!
