Nicole and Samuel’s wedding at Bonnet Island Estate was a dream celebration filled with romantic design, heartfelt moments, and impeccable details. Tucked along the water in coastal New Jersey, this venue offers a charming mix of classic elegance and seaside serenity—making it one of my favorite locations to photograph.
From the very beginning of the day, every element of their celebration was thoughtfully curated. The design palette was a delicate mix of greens, pinks, and whites, evoking the softness of spring and the breezy beauty of the shore. Nicole’s bridesmaids wore flowing dresses in a light sage tone that complemented the lush floral arrangements by Made of Leaves, which included an organic mix of roses, ranunculus, and delicate greenery.

One of the standout elements of the day was the invitation suite designed by The Jess Press. The suite featured soft watercolor accents, elegant calligraphy, and intricate detailing that perfectly set the tone for the wedding. It was truly a work of art, and such a joy to photograph alongside Nicole’s bridal details, which included classic heels by Something Bleu and a gown from Pronovias via I Do… I Do Bridal.
Nicole looked radiant thanks to Make Me Up Eva and JC Hair Design NJ, who created a soft, romantic bridal look that tied into the natural elegance of the entire day. The ceremony took place in Bonnet Island’s signature chapel, and was followed by golden hour portraits along the waterfront.
The reception was full of joyful energy, with live music by Hank Lane Music, signature cocktails from Neptune Wines & Liquors and Here’s 2U, and an incredible cake by The Bake Works NJ. One of my favorite design moments from the day was the floral meadow around the cake—a garden-like installation that brought texture, color, and life to the reception space in a truly unforgettable way.

Guests were treated to delicious cuisine by Merri-Makers Catering, danced the night away, and captured memories in the Norma Jean Vintage Machine Photo Booth. Nicole and Samuel also included personal touches like a traditional bagpiper from NJ Bagpiper, honoring family heritage and creating an emotional, timeless moment during the ceremony.
Planning this beautiful day was Bogath Events, whose expert coordination ensured everything flowed seamlessly, from the ceremony to the last dance.
As a photographer, I always appreciate when a wedding is not only beautiful, but deeply personal. Nicole and Samuel’s day was filled with thoughtful storytelling, intentional design, and so much love—from the delicate invitation suite to the vibrant floral details, and the laughter that filled the reception.
