Erica and Eric’s wedding at Bonnet Island Estate was a romantic, joy-filled celebration set against one of the most stunning coastal backdrops in New Jersey. With thoughtful design, meaningful personal touches, and golden hour portraits to remember forever, their wedding day perfectly balanced elegance with heartfelt charm.

From the very beginning of the day, the tone was set with calm excitement. Erica got ready with her bridal party, surrounded by the talented team from Natalie Bridal Co. and Beauty on Location NJ, who created a soft, radiant beauty look to match the dreamy tone of the day. Erica wore a timeless gown from Lovely Bride NYC, which moved effortlessly in the sea breeze and added to the romantic aesthetic of the entire celebration.

The green and white florals by Reynolds Garden Shop were classic and fresh, bringing a lush feel to the ceremony and reception spaces. Pops of color were tastefully woven throughout the arrangements, adding vibrancy to the soft, coastal palette. Erica’s bridesmaids wore mismatched blue-toned floral dresses, and the look was nothing short of picture-perfect—subtle patterns and textures that blended beautifully and felt completely unique.

Bonnet Island Estate is always a favorite venue of mine, with its serene waterfront chapel and light-filled ballroom. Erica and Eric exchanged vows with the sound of the waves in the background, followed by portraits in the tall grasses and on the dock, bathed in golden hour light. The sunset that evening was absolute magic, casting a warm glow across the property and creating unforgettable moments on camera.

As guests gathered for the reception, the sun poured through the ballroom windows, creating the most gorgeous natural spotlight as Erica and Eric shared their first dance. It’s rare to have lighting this perfect, and it brought such an ethereal, romantic feeling to that moment. One of my absolute favorite moments from the night was heading back to the dock for a few night portraits. The sky was deep navy, the lights from the venue twinkled in the background, and Erica and Eric had a quiet moment to take it all in. Their joy was palpable.
