Raise your hand if you have ever fallen victim to being in a creative rut. This is fairly common, especially in the photography world. The first thing you have to know is that this is completely normal! You get so “in the zone” that sometimes you don’t even find yourself in a rut until you’re already halfway down. The best way to get out of a rut is to do something different. Step outside of your usual pattern. In comes this Floral Dream Valentine’s Day Styled Shoot. I and other creatives got together to make this beautiful shoot come to life. The vision, talent, and teamwork that it took to make this day as beautiful as it was are absolutely phenomenal. It’s moments and days like these that reignite my fire for my work and get me excited for more creative days like this one.

Why We Do Styled Shoots?

Styled shoots are the perfect opportunities for wedding photographers, or really any wedding creative in general to get outside their comfort zone and try something new. The purpose of this Floral Dream Valentine’s Day Styled Shoot was for other creatives to get together, step outside of their usual zone and have fun. It gives you an opportunity to feel inspired that not only translates to this particular shoot, but moving forward in any other work that you do. Styled shoots can be so incredibly powerful which is why I love participating/hosting them whenever I get the chance.
