There’s something undeniably romantic about the cobblestone streets and historic charm of Old City Philadelphia, and Macy & Brad’s engagement session captured it all so effortlessly. From colonial-era architecture to tucked-away alleyways with ivy-draped walls, their shoot was a perfect blend of modern love in a timeless setting.
We began their session strolling through cobblestone streets dappled with golden hour light. The character and texture of brick facades set a stunning backdrop for their cozy, candid moments. Macy looked radiant in a chic, white dress that popped against the historic tones of Old City, while we loved Brad’s blue toned shirt and pants paired with a smile that never left his face.
As golden hour raged on, we wandered the streets of old city, passing by classic landmarks like the Second Bank, Carpenters Hall, and Merchants Exchange and settled on a quaint passageway between the three. These quieter moments gave Macy & Brad space to simply enjoy each other—laughing, embracing, and soaking in the beauty of this meaningful season in their lives.
Old City’s timeless scenery provided a fitting stage for a couple whose love is rooted in both tradition and shared adventure. Their energy, chemistry, and sense of fun made this session so special to capture.
We are SO excited to share more soon from Macy & Brad’s incredible wedding day at the American Swedish Historical Museum with the incredible Taylor Emily Events—stay tuned for all the gorgeous details!
