Leah & Ryan’s Philadelphia engagement session was the perfect blend of personal, chic, and joyful—from cozy moments on their Fishtown apartment rooftop to golden hour portraits behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Every detail was filled with meaning, personality, and their adorable pup, who totally stole the show.
We started the session on their apartment rooftop, where sweeping views of the city skyline set a stunning backdrop. It was the ideal place to begin capturing their story—right where so many memories have been made. After spending some relaxed time in their neighborhood, they brought their sweet dog along for a few photos, adding such a fun and personal touch to the session.

From there, we headed over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, just in time for golden hour. The soft light and open space gave their portraits a natural, romantic feel, and an elegant touch of classic Philadelphia charm. With the Schuylkill River flowing in the background and city architecture framing the scene, it was a perfect mix of urban beauty and serene moments.
Leah & Ryan’s session was full of genuine laughter, connection, and that kind of easy energy that makes photographing couples so rewarding. Every part of their session reflected what makes them so special—not only their love for each other, but their shared love for the city they call home.
We’re so excited to capture even more beautiful moments with these two and can’t wait to share more from their wedding day at The Switch House!
