I love shooting micro weddings and elopements! I am more than happy to work with you on a custom wedding package if full day coverage does not fit your needs.
I always have my passport ready and I LOVE to travel! Whether you're eloping in a National Park, or having a destination wedding on the European coast - I would love to be there! We apply a reasonable travel fee for venues over 100 miles away for weddings and 25 miles for other sessions.
Chances are, yes! If not, along with extensive online research and tips from colleagues, I always get to the venue early the day of to familiarize myself with the layout, and choose the best locations for your photographs.
No! But trust me, you want to! It's a great way for us to get to know each other, get you feeling comfortable in front of the camera, and an opportunity to see how things will flow on your wedding day. If you choose to opt out, you may trade this for an additional hour of wedding day coverage, or a mini boudoir session.
You have the right to print and display your images whenever you want for personal use. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without written consent. Under no circumstances do we provide unedited or "raw" images.
I love staying up to date on the newest and best camera systems. I currently shoot on Canon mirrorless bodies, and carry backups of all of my equipment including cameras, lenses and lighting.
You can expect to receive 75-100 images from your engagement session 4 weeks following the shoot, and 50-75 images per hour of wedding day coverage 12 weeks following your wedding.
Of course! Most venues require it, and I am happy to send a copy to yours.
Payments are broken down into two easy installments. Weddings require a $3,000 non-refundable retainer fee to secure your date, and the balance due one month before your wedding. Other sessions require a 50% non-refundable retainer fee, and the balance due one week before your session/event date.
Your images will be delivered in an online gallery with a link and password sent to your email address(es) on file. From here you can download your high-res edited images, and share the gallery with friends and family. You can also order albums, prints and other products right from in the store on your gallery!
I love connecting with my past wedding couples and capturing these stages of their lives past their wedding day. I currently do not offer newborn or family portraits for those outside of my wedding clients. For new clients, I do not offer traditional maternity sessions, but do offer maternity boudoir sessions.
Your images are SO important to me, and over the years I have perfected my process in making sure they are properly stored and protected. During the event, my team shoots on two memory cards at the same time. This instantly creates a backup of every image in the camera. Afterward, we back up the images to an offsite hard drive which is also copied to an online cloud storage. We also save one copy of the original memory cards until we delivery your final gallery. At any given point, there are three copies of the files in separate locations.
We have shot in the darkest of dark churches and reception spaces so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get perfectly lit images. I shoot on cameras with incredible low-light performance and lenses with low apertures to allow for the most amount of light to come through in your images. Please keep in mind, that although I do my best to maintain a lighter imagery style in dark rooms, it will not translate as well as a room with bright colors & lighting, or outdoors at nighttime. I would be happy to share images I took at your venue, or a venue with similar lighting.
My goal is to take romantic photos that capture the story of the wedding day that are full of emotion. Not just of the couple, but of their family and friends who are there to celebrate with them! I think the details, setting, and guests at a wedding are all so important to capture in order to really show what the wedding was all about. I love portraits that feel natural and not stiff, but I always give lots of direction to my couples in order to achieve that look! I make it a priority to help couples feel comfortable in front of my camera! My style is light and editorial and is inspired by film images.
